At Dash by the River Cafe, we are committed to providing quality food and service. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds, replacements, or credits may be provided.
1. No Change of Mind Refunds
We do not offer refunds for:

Incorrect choice

Orders placed incorrectly by the customer
Once food or beverages have been prepared or served, refunds will not be issued for these reasons.
2. Incorrect or Faulty Orders
We will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit if:

The order provided is incorrect, or
-
The product is faulty, damaged, or not of acceptable quality
You must notify us:

Immediately in-store, or
-
As soon as possible after receiving your order
We may request proof (such as receipt or photo).
3. Food Quality Concerns
If you are unhappy with your order, you must inform staff:

Before consuming the majority of the product
We will assess the issue and may offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.
If the product has been mostly consumed, refunds will generally not be provided.
4. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Customers must clearly inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering.

While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Refunds will not be provided if:

Dietary requirements were not communicated clearly, or

Cross-contamination occurs despite reasonable precautions
5. Payments & Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

Payments made via Square or EFTPOS will be refunded back to the same card.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank.
6. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law
This policy operates in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product:

Is unsafe

Is significantly different from what was described

All refunds and replacements are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
